For faithful churches

Your church still has a place in this community.

If you’ve kept the doors open and the Word preached through a long, hard season, this page was written for you. You’ve probably wondered, more than once, why new people aren’t finding your church.

You’d love for one new family to walk in, and for someone to be ready to welcome them. We’ve helped faithful churches in this season before, and we believe there’s hope for yours.

At Greentree Church, a new guest now walks in nearly every week.

More than 100 churches. 98% stay with us; we’re decades-long ministry partners.

What you’re carrying

Why don’t our neighbors know we’re here?

You’ve given years to this church, preaching the Word and caring for your people through every kind of week. Some nights the question won’t let you rest: we’ve been faithful, so why aren’t new people coming?

That’s a heavy thing to carry, and it doesn’t mean the years you’ve spent faithfully preaching and shepherding were wasted.

Over many years, the connection between a church and its neighbors can wear thin, until the church feels invisible to the people it was planted to reach. That connection can be rebuilt. We’ve seen it happen.

  • 01

It’s hard to know who in your community has heard of you.

  • 02

Outreach happens when someone has the energy for it.

  • 03

When a guest does visit, there’s no clear way to follow up.

  • 04

Your website and your sign don’t show the warmth inside.

  • 05

You and a few others are carrying a lot.

None of that means your church’s work is finished.

Digital hospitality

How do we do this? The Antioch Bridge

One connected system, built and run by Digital Outreach.

Your church still has work to do in this neighborhood, and the Antioch Bridge is how we help you reach it again, one span at a time. We rebuild the way between your church and your neighbors in the order they cross it: knowing you’re here, feeling expected when they visit, and finding a next step once they do. Your message and your convictions stay exactly as they are. We build the bridge with you and keep it standing.

Span 1 of 3: Discover

Would a neighbor know we’re still here?

When someone nearby searches for a church, or starts wondering about faith, your church shows up. What they find is clear and true to who you are.

  • Found when neighbors search

Google, Maps, and local ads that reintroduce your church

  • A website for first-time guests

    A website that answers a first-time guest’s questions

  • What to expect

Service times, directions, and what Sunday is like

Span 2 of 3: Welcome

Will a first-time guest feel expected?

Your people are warm. That warmth can reach a guest before Sunday, when they plan their visit, and stay with them through the week after.

  • Plan your visit

A way for guests to say they’re coming, so greeters are ready

  • A guest card

A simple way for guests to share their name, so no one slips past

  • First-week follow-up

A personal note in the first week, written in your voice

Span 3 of 3: Belong

Will the people God sends find a home here?

Every guest matters to you. Each one sees a simple next step, from a first visit into a group, a place to serve, and the life of your church.

  • A clear next step

One simple next step after a first Sunday

  • Ways to belong

Clear paths into groups and serving

  • Who’s coming back

A view of who’s returning, so you know who to call

Let’s map the path for your church.

Matt Engler

If it would help, Matt Engler, our co-founder, will spend thirty minutes with you looking at where your church stands on each span and where we’d start. You’ll leave with that whether or not we ever work together.

From a church that’s been there

Has this worked for a church like ours?

Greentree Church

Greentree Church had come through a long, hard season, when guests were rare. Today a new guest walks in nearly every week, and about half of each new member class traces back to their outreach.

One woman, Rachel, came to an Easter event after seeing an invitation online. Within weeks she professed faith in Christ, and she’s now part of the church family.

100+

More than 100 churches served, from planters in borrowed rooms to churches that have stood on the same corner for generations.

98%

98% of churches stay with us. When one leaves, it’s usually because we told them we were no longer the right help.

Our promise to you

If you don’t see three new guests a month within six months, your service is free until you do.

Ad budget not included.

Until then, we’ll also meet regularly with you and your board to help get you there.

A thirty-minute conversation

We’ll talk about your church and your neighbors, where we’d start, and what your church would bring to it. You decide what comes next.

Whenever the timing is right.

Who we serve

Two questions we’d ask first.

Everyone on our team serves in a local church of their own, and we’d be representing yours online.

Is the gospel at the center of your preaching?

Do you want to see more people in your community find a home at your church?

If you’d answer yes to both, you’re the church we hope to serve.

If the gospel isn’t central to your church’s ministry, we’re sorry, but we’re not the right partner for you. We’ve turned down partnerships for this reason before, and we’d rather be clear from the beginning.

Questions

Questions you may be asking

What if our church has been in a hard season for a long time?

Then you know how heavy it can get. Seasons like this often trace back to a connection with the neighborhood that faded over many years, and connections can be rebuilt. Some of your neighbors are searching for a church right now, and others are wrestling with questions about faith. We help your church be seen again, so they have somewhere to come.

No. Your theology and your preaching stay as they are. We help the faithful ministry already happening in your church be easier to find and easier to respond to.

A new website or a round of ads on its own rarely brings anyone to stay, because a guest needs to find you, feel welcome, and see a next step. We build all three spans together and keep adjusting them each month as we learn what reaches your neighbors.

Most of your part comes at the start: telling us about your church, giving us access to the tools we’ll need, and a few conversations along the way. After that, we carry the digital work. Your church keeps the work only it can do, welcoming people in person and caring for them.

It’s a fair question, and a good one for your board to ask. There’s a one-time build in your first four months, then a monthly partnership, plus an ad budget your church pays directly to Google and Facebook. That’s usually less than a part-time staff member would cost, and it takes the place of several things you may be paying for separately now. And if three new guests a month aren’t finding your church within six months, you don’t pay for our service until they are.

That’s understandable, and caution can be good stewardship. We’ll give your board a short, clear explanation of what we’d build, who carries what, and how the cost is structured, so they can weigh it well.

That’s a hard place to stand. There are a dozen things you could try, and they don’t all matter equally. Trying a few at random and getting mixed results can leave you feeling like nothing works. We help you see what’s holding your church back most and build a clear path from there.

We don’t believe it is. Your church and its message still matter to the people around you, and we’ve watched faithful churches welcome new families after long, hard seasons. We’d love to help that happen for yours.

Let’s talk about your church.

Your church still has a place in your community’s future. People near you are looking for hope, and for Jesus. We want to help them find your church, and help you welcome them well. If a conversation would help, we’d be glad to have one.

Whenever the timing works for you.

“Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”
